The entire surface—excluding only the base—is adorned with peonies and butterflies in harmonious flight, each motif rendered in hand-cut shell. Crimson, violet, ivory, and soft green petals shimmer against a backdrop of deep blue abalone, their tones shifting with the light like a twilight garden.
