Artinko Products: Care and Use

All information supplied through the Site is for informational purposes regarding the history and care of traditional Korean crafts. While we guarantee 100% authentic materials, Artinko is not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, such as using non-food-safe decorative items for dining or using harsh chemicals on delicate Mother-of-Pearl surfaces. We provide specific care instructions for Celadon and Najeonchilgi on our blog to help you preserve your art for generations.

The receipt of any questions or feedback you submit to Artinko does not create a professional relationship and does not create any privacy rights.

We guarantee 100% Authentic products, but we are not responsible for any adverse effects or any allergic results that may occur from the usage of the products purchased at www.artinko.com. If any medical problem occurs, immediately contact your family doctor and let us know what product or ingredient might cause this reaction.


Returns

At Artinko, our goal is to ensure your complete satisfaction with your purchase. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, merchandise can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of receipt of your order (based on the delivery record), provided the following conditions are met:

  • The product has not been opened or used (the plastic wrap or box of the products must not be removed).

  • The product is in its original condition, is not damaged, and is not missing parts.

  • If your order included a free gift, the gift must remain in its original condition and be returned together with the product.

  • All discount and clearance products are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

  • All returns must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt.

  • No exceptions will be made for the above policy.

If any dispute occurs, Artinko reserves the right to the final decision. Please note that we do not refund original shipping and handling fees; we can only refund the total value of the products.


Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at contact@artinko.com.

Sale items: Only regular priced items may be refunded; unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges: We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, send us an email at contact@artinko.com.


Shipping

To return your product, you should mail it to: 112Dong 505HO, Sauro 51, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggido, South Korea 10111.

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


Privacy Policy

SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION? When you purchase something from our store, we collect personal information such as your name, address, and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address to help us learn about your browser and operating system. With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates.

SECTION 2 - CONSENT When you provide personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, or arrange for a delivery, we imply that you consent to our collecting it for that specific reason only. If you change your mind after opting in, you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at contact@artinko.com.

SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE We may disclose your personal information if required by law or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. Your data is stored through Shopify’s secure data storage and databases behind a firewall. Payment data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES Third-party providers used by us will only collect and use your information to the extent necessary to perform their services. However, certain providers (like payment gateways) have their own privacy policies. Once you leave our store’s website, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy.

SECTION 6 - SECURITY We take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices, including SSL encryption and AES-256 encryption, to protect your personal information.

SECTION 7 - COOKIES We use standard Shopify cookies (e.g., _session_id, _shopify_visit, cart) to maintain your session and track store stats.

SECTION 13 - OUR DELIVERY GUARANTEE; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Our Delivery Guarantee: Unlike many stores, Artinko takes full responsibility for your order until it is safely in your hands. We understand the fragile nature of traditional Korean ceramics and lacquerware. In the rare event that an item is damaged or lost during transit, we will resend the item at no extra cost to you or issue a full refund immediately upon verification of the damage.

Limitation of Liability: Apart from our delivery guarantee, we do not guarantee that your use of our service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the service is at your sole risk. In no case shall Artinko, our directors, officers, or artisans be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind, including lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the service or any products procured using the service, except as required by law in your jurisdiction.

SECTION 14 - INDEMNIFICATION You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Artinko and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees from any claim or demand made by any third-party.
