Yet here that inherited language has been released from dress and reconstituted as an act of looking.
This shift matters. Removed from the body and placed within matching dark wooden frames, both embroidered panels are drawn out of their earlier social legibility and into a more contemplative condition. They no longer function as markers to be read at a glance within hierarchy. Instead, they ask to be studied as self-contained fields of structure, rhythm, and symbolic exchange.
